Care and Support Worker

Location: Hounslow within the following post codes: TW3, TW4, TW5, TW7, TW8, TW13, TW15.

Hours/Days: 7am – 3pm or 4pm – 10pm. Must be able to commit to a minimum 3 days per week.

Salary: £13.15 per hour.

BACKGROUND

Your role is the most important in the organisation. As a Care and Support Worker, you will provide the direct service to our customers which will often involve working on your own. You will be allocated to customers that you will see regularly and will build professional relationships with your customers. Some of the customers will require two Care and Support Workers due to Health and Safety. You will receive support from the Service Managers, Field Managers and Registered Manager.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

To meet the personal care and support needs of customers in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. The support provided by Care and Support Workers is expected to include care that would reasonably be given by members of the customers own family.

KEY ROLES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work within the company’s Health and Safety Policy and ensure so far as reasonable that safe working practices are established, maintained and followed
  • Adhere to and actively promote the organisation’s policies and procedures
  • Work within and assist in maintaining the quality management system principles for the company
  • Monitor and reports to the Service Manager / Field Based Manager any changes in Health and Social circumstances of the customer and assist the line manager to assess the needs and review the services provided
