“I would not have got the job without such a professional CV”

After being made redundant from her role at a flower factory during the COVID-19 pandemic, Simona joined the JETS programme. As a single Mum, she was determined to be able to support her family.

In her first meeting with her employment advisor, Simona confessed that she did not have a CV, nor did she feel she had the skills to create one. Very keen to find work, Simona knew a CV was the priority.

Working with our delivery partner, Ingeus, she attended a CV and cover letter workshop and from this was referred to one to one sessions for more tailored support. After two of these sessions, Simona had a CV that she was happy with.

In no time, Simona was offered a role at Patisserie Valerie Production Ltd, a local cake-making factory, an ideal job for her in the perfect environment. Simona was incredibly grateful for the support, saying that she would not have got the job without such a professional CV.
