Introduction to Mentoring

Are you looking for a change of career? Do you want to make a difference to young people’s lives? Applications are open for our Introduction to Mentoring Certificate, a FREE four week course, equipping you with the skills and expertise needed to work as a young person’s mentor at Shaw Trust.

Shaw Trust is committed to having a diverse workforce, we challenge inequality and break down barriers to create positive opportunities for all, whatever your background.

After successfully completing the course, you will be guaranteed an interview for our mentoring vacancies that are due to start in September.

Applications close on Friday 28 May and spaces are limited, if this is the opportunity for you then send your CV and a statement of no more than 250 words, outlining why you want to work as a mentor to katie.mawhinney@prospects.co.uk.

The process timescale can be seen below:

Closing date for applications: 28 May 2021.

Election process for the course begins: 1 June 2021.

Successful applicants informed: Week commencing 7 June 2021.

Course start date: 21 June 2021.

Course end date: 16 July 2021.

Interviews for vacancies: Week commencing 19 July 2021.

Vacancy start date: 1 September 2021.
