Joe* came to us after his time in custody as he was struggling to find work. Although he had been trying, he knew he needed extra qualifications which CFO3 were able to provide. Whilst on the CFO3 project, Joe received support with relationship issues, education and training, accommodation, disclosure, CV and health advice. Alongside this, we supported him with his forklift (FLT) training.
Joe felt disheartened and unmotivated to look for vacancies himself. When his Employment Case Manager started supporting him, Joe explained exactly what he was looking for, allowing his Case Manager to approach recruitment companies who were looking for Warehouse Operatives and FLT Drivers.
Within a week of working with us, Joe started a permanent role with an employer! Joe is enjoying working and obtaining a sustainable income. Joe knows that we will continue to support him in work and says he: “Will continue to learn from everything the team has taught me and I look forward to earning a steady income for me and my family.”
