The Employer Team at Shaw Trust held a recruitment day for CSP at Shepherds Bush Hub. The roles on offer from CSP were event stewards and traffic marshals to work at various major stadiums, racecourses and events across London.
Before the recruitment day, employer account managers went through a screening process to find suitable candidates for the roles CSP were recruiting for. The successful individuals were then made aware of what to expect during the recruitment day and supported by their employment advisers with preparation. This is one of the benefits of Shaw Trust working closely with an employer and increases the recruitment success rate.

On the day, CSP provided an information session to attendees about the company, the jobs on offer and what they expected from the successful applicants. This was then followed by a one-to-one interview and an induction for anyone who passed the interview stage.
The great news was that the process was successful and all seven applicants in attendance completed all the stages and were offered jobs – a 100% success rate! This highlights how beneficial a tailored approach to the recruitment process can be.
