Transporting young people into work

Graphic of a train with Shaw Trust and TFL logos.

Shaw Trust is proud to announce that, as of next year, we will be working in collaboration with Transport for London to support young people into employment.

As part of the Steps into Work programme, we will be supporting up to 24 young people every year, from education into employment. Shaw Trust was selected to deliver this programme as we specialise in supporting young people through three areas of our operational areas Children’s Services, Learning and Skills, and Charitable Enterprises.

Steps into Work provides young people with three employment opportunities within TFL, and its partners, to develop their skills and knowledge, and build their confidence, ready for sustainable, and paid employment within 12 months.

If you are a young person, or support a young person with an education, health and care plan, EHCP, please get in touch with us at socialmediayouth@shaw-trust.org.uk
